Sarada Mandiram Heritage Hotel

Project Overview

Sarada Mandiram is a historic residence in Kochi, Kerala, built in 1935 by Anjattu Kumara Kaimal and named after his youngest daughter. Over the decades, it has hosted notable personalities, appeared in the Malayalam cult classic Pattana Pravesham, and stood as a symbol of Kerala’s architectural elegance. In 2024, the property underwent a thoughtful restoration led by M/s Nihad Nazir, Mumtaz Kasim & Mohamed Mustafa Kasim, transforming it into a premium heritage hotel while preserving its cultural essence.

My task was to design and develop a new website that captured the timeless charm of Sarada Mandiram while providing a seamless, modern booking experience. The goal was to blend heritage storytelling with a user-friendly digital interface to attract both domestic and international guests.

My Approach

• Frontend Development
  Customized a high-quality HTML template to match the hotel’s brand palette and refined it to deliver a responsive, elegant design. Ensured a consistent look across devices, from desktop to mobile.

• Content Structuring
  Organized heritage-focused narratives, room details, and nearby attractions into easily navigable sections. Highlighted the property’s history alongside booking functionality to appeal to both culture enthusiasts and leisure travelers.

• UI Enhancements
  Incorporated visually engaging image sliders, hero banners, and service highlight cards to showcase rooms, amenities, and historical significance.

• Booking Flow Integration
  Designed clear calls-to-action for booking, inquiry, and contact forms, ensuring a smooth guest journey from browsing to booking.

• Performance Optimization
  Compressed and optimized images for faster load times without compromising quality, enhancing both SEO and user experience.

• Location & Contact Accessibility
  Embedded accurate location details and contact information prominently to encourage quick inquiries and visits.
